Happy Time ---Only Belongs to Room511 & GAKIs

It was Christmas eve, a happy and romantic day. I had a date with my dear roommates so I sacrificed other activities to keep the appointment. (I did not go to the practice of volley ball and chorus club.) We had had the plan to have a meal together before the mid-term exam, but we postponed it till the day (24, December) when we think we should take a rest to do something just for fun. The reason why this appointment could not be carried out is because each of us, especially me, is always occupied and there were many things interrupting our plan.

We found a small restaurant where sells healthy hot pot. All the foods, most of them are vegetables, in pots are fresh, natural, and balanced so it seemed that we would not have burden on health. We were all satisfied with the delicious food. What’s more, we talked a lot with one another happily, shared plenty of things that we did not know before so that we understood one another much more and got closer. After we felt content and pleased, we walked back to the dormitory slowly, joyfully.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

After we went back to the dorm, we all had other dates with other people personally, individually. (But, in fact, our destination was the same place, Dong Hai.) I went there with other club members by motorcycle and it cost us almost an hour to get there. It was terribly crowded in the university and the campus is really very large and wide. What a coincidence that I met my senior in high school with her boyfriend. (I have not met each other for more than one year. It was nice to see each other again!) Then, chorus members (we called each other “GAKI” that means “one loves to eat” in Japanese) and I talked happily, waited for the hanging bell ringing and made wishes in such a holy night. After that, we went to McDonalds to have some night snack and still talked pleasantly till all of us felt tired and wanted to go home.

Although the holy night was very cold, windy and a little rainy, I deeply believed that all the hearts felt very warm, delighted and blessed!

Victory Banquet

It was (12/20) the Sunday night that we went to celebrate our double victories of cheer squad contest and chorus contest! (I am really proud of ourselves.)Then, we wanted to use the reward that we won to have a big feast. We chose a restaurant that we can eat both barbecue and hot pot. Besides, we can also eat all we can eat! (Everyone's diet plan should be stopped at that night!)

There were several different kinds of food for us to choose from, for example:

Meat: pork, beef, mutton, and chicken.

Sea food: scallop, shrimp, calamari, squid, crab, and such.

Prepared Food: sushi, hand roll, noodles, cheese roll, salad, and so on.

Snacks: pancake, free beverage, ice cream, and lots of sweet food.

I did not have to pay extra money for our orders. We could eat till we felt full during the limited two hours. We all felt very satisfied with the big feast! XD

Also, some of us drank some beer to celebrate the 19th birthday of Leo, who is the leader of class A and who is a funny and talented guy.We kept eating and chatting with one another. I thought that we really spent a happy time with one another.

( The left one is Leo. Happy Birthday to You!)

After the big feast, we walked around and went shopping just for digestion. That’s because we really ate too much and we had to take a walk to make ourselves feel better.

P.S. I wanted to thank my senior for lending me her motorcycle generously so that I did not have to wait for the bus and be confined to the time when we should go back to the dormitory! I love you, Louise!

Happy to See YOU Again, GIRLS!

Saturday, 12, December

It was the ninety-year anniversary of my senior high school, TCGS. Most of my classmates and I went back to school without making an appointment. We asked one another how the life of everyone was lately and we talked with each other happily just like that we went back to the unforgettable life when we were still senior high students. We certainly also visited our teachers and talked about our lives. (Through the talking with the teacher who knew the best, I started to think over my future and dream, which I almost forgot and wanted to give up, again.) Then, one group met another group and another because the campus is quite small. Gradually, we became a very huge group and we had a happy lunch time together.

After I saw my dear classmate again, I really felt a little envious (maybe not just a little). Almost everyone have changes in their appearance and lives, especially those who are studying in Taipei. One of my close friend lost weight over ten kilograms and absolutely became a slender girl! Also, their dressing all really became so fashionable, beautiful and they have already learned how to make up. Besides, many of them have already had boyfriends. Compared to them, I am still an unsophisticated, heavy girl without any improvement. I wear T-shirts, jeans, casual shoes, and lots of casual stuff. Also, I do not know how to make up and how to do skin care well. Moreover, I have almost let my dream, which is to study in Taipei with them and become an accountant in the future, get out of my mind.

Join the Chorus Club !!!!!!

My life is getting busier and more colorful because I have several leisure activities, including playing vollybal and badminton on the team of DFLL, being one staff of DFLL drama show, and joining the chorus club.

I got acquainted with the leader of the chorus club, who is a junior, when we attended the Freshmen Chorus Contest. At first, he came to ask my name and ask me if I were chorus member before because I looked like that I had plentiful experience. (The answer is absolutely negative. I told him that I just enjoy singing and my senior high music teacher really taught us a lot and well.) Then, everytime we practiced chorus, we would talk with each otehr happily. After a while, I thought that he is really a good guy and I wanted to make friend with him so I took initiative action to know him further. Therefore, we built up a good friendship and we often chatted with each other with MSN.

The chorus leader has been bothered by a problem that their female members are less than male ones so that their voice could not get a balance easily. So, he asked me sincerely if I was willing to join them. He told me that he would permit my absence if I was very busy. That's because he knows that I have many other things to do. Therefore, I made up my mind to join the club last Tuesday! The reasons why I joined them are as follows:

First, I really enjoy singing very much. But, I did not have a opportunity to join such a joyful club before this. So, I want to give a try!

Second, I want to do my friend a favor. Besides, I think that the chorus club is so happy and warm that I am attracted by the atmosphere there and those friendly guys.

(It happened to have dinner between Alto and Bass just on the next day after I joined it. So, it is lucky to me to have treat from the senoirs.XD)

P.S. Because of lots of activities, my winter vacation will almost be occupied by a series of matters totally!

Greeting Camp --- Have a Lot of Fun!

The weather was cold and windy most time during the two days. The camp was held on a farm, which is on a hillside, in Miaoli. All the activities that were very interesting really made us so tired because we had to run around the farm to play the games. The sophomores told us that they would record all the points that every group got according to our performance during all the activities. The group who got the lowest points would be punished---being the last one to leave in the night tour. We did not know why we were always the losers even though we tried so hard to join the games. All of us in the group had the same feeling that we must be the unlucky one. But, I did not care about it because I was not afraid. Instead, I thought that would be very interesting! What I hated was that we had to bear the chilly weather and go back to our rooms late.

(Our Group Members)

In the night, the sophomores prepared so many spectacular performances for us, including amazing dancing shows and a lot of wonderful dramas. They were really so funny, talented and excellent that I began to adore them. (Also, I started to worry about the time when it is our turn to prepare such a camp for our underclassmen. So, in order to hold a great camp, I thought that we should learn much more from our seniors!)

Through the two days, I got acquainted with more sophomores and knew them much better. Then, I thought that I like them(DFLL members) a lot more.
